On June 17, 2025, the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025 was held at the stadium of Heilongjiang University, with attendance from Chi Baoxu, Party Secretary of Heilongjiang University; Wang Jingbo, President of Heilongjiang University; other school leaders; and representatives of professors, students, alumni, and parents. Liu Fengying, Deputy Party Secretary of Heilongjiang University, presided over the ceremony.


Amidst the solemn national anthem and uplifting school song, the national flag and university flag rose steadily, marking the official commencement of the graduation ceremony.

Sanlang Zhaxi, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, announced the Graduation Qualification Review Report for Heilongjiang University Class of 2025.

Li Junming, Deputy Party Secretary, read the Decision on Conferring Doctoral Degrees to 82 Candidates (including Zhang Hao), Master’s Degrees to 2,689 Candidates (including Shen Xiaobin), and Bachelor’s Degrees to 7,182 Candidates (including Zhou Xu).

Vice President Jing Liqiang announced the Decision on Awarding Bachelor’s Degrees to 30 International Graduates (including Esmont·Marina).







University leaders presented diplomas and degree certificates to representative graduates, conferring bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees upon them.

Vice President Li Zhuo read the Decision on Appointing 302 Graduates (including Ma Kuankao) as Alumni Council Members for Heilongjiang University Class of 2025.

University leaders issued appointment letters to representative council members.

Party Secretary Chi Baoxu presented the flag to the Postgraduate Volunteer Teaching Corps. Twenty-six graduates will embark on a one-year teaching mission in Chongqing’s Fuling and Tongnan districts, as well as Mishan and Jidong counties in Heilongjiang Province, contributing to basic education in western regions and the local community.

Vice President Wei Ying announced the Decision on Commending Outstanding Graduates of Heilongjiang University Class of 2025.

Vice President Cui Benqiang read the Decision on Recognizing Outstanding Doctoral and Master’s Theses of Heilongjiang University Class of 2025.

Vice President Xu Hui declared the Decision on Honoring Outstanding Undergraduate Theses (Designs) of Heilongjiang University Class of 2025.

President’s Assistant Chen Weihou announced the Decision on Awarding Honorary Bachelor’s Degrees to 211 Candidates (including Qiao Qian).



University leaders presented honorary certificates to representative awardees.
Wang Meiyi, a 2025 graduate from the School of History, Culture, and Tourism, expressed profound gratitude to the university, faculty, family, and friends on behalf of all graduates. She pledged to carry forward the knowledge gained at HLU into the future with courage.

International graduate representative Anastasia Yeremeyeva (Russian), who earned her Master’s in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from the School of Literature, shared her academic journey and extended heartfelt appreciation and blessings to the university.

Zang Liguo, a 2022 student from the School of Economics and Business Administration, conveyed blessings to graduating seniors on behalf of current students, vowing to continue writing HLU’s excellent chapter with youthful vigor.

Professor Wang Qiu, provincial Distinguished Teacher, Dean of the School of Marxism, and doctoral supervisor, extended sincere congratulations to graduates. Reflecting on cherished memories, he shared four insights: deepening expertise, upholding pragmatism, persevering diligently, and leading innovation.

Li Xinyu, HLU alumni mentor, entrepreneurship advisor, and 2007 graduate from the School of Electronics Engineering—now Party Secretary and Chairman of Jintai Group—encouraged graduates to embrace challenges and excel in their fields.

President Wang Jingbo delivered a commencement speech, congratulating the Class of 2025 and thanking families and mentors. Her exhortations included: Keep the nation in mind: Inherit the university’s spirit, embrace societal responsibilities, and achieve greatness through contributing to China’s rejuvenation. Embrace innovation: Pioneer breakthroughs while upholding ethics. Be "architects of the algorithmic world" and "guardians of value systems," ensuring innovation serves human dignity.Practice gratitude: Cherish your roots—remember the nation’s nurturing, the university’s cultivation, mentors’ guidance, and loved ones’ support. Pursue lifelong learning: Stay resilient amid change through continuous self-renewal to navigate life’s uncertainties.

She concluded, "The bond between your alma mater and you will never break. Heilongjiang University’s arms remain forever open to you. Wherever you go, whenever you may be, HLU will always be your spiritual cradle to recharge your spirit." The ceremony concluded with the melody of Time to Say Goodbye.

The ceremony was livestreamed via People’s Daily App, China Youth Network, and HLU’s official channels, attracting nearly 500,000 online viewers.



Prior to the ceremony, faculty and student representatives performed blessings through songs including A Path of Blossoms, Spark, Tomorrow Will Be Better, Dear You, and Until the End of the World, wishing graduates boundless futures.
